Silent Auction Rules

 

  • Silent auction will begin when event doors open at 9:00am and bids will close promptly at 5:00pm.

  • No bids will be accepted after auction closes.

  • Bidding must begin with the stated minimum bid.

  • Bids must increase previous bid by the stipulated minimum increase or the bid will be invalid.

  • Bids must be made by adults (18+) only.

  • Item winners will be announced after all the bid sheets are collected and processed.

  • Payment and item pick-up will immediately follow the auction. If winner is not present, they will be contacted by a committee member and arrangements made for delivery/collection.

  • Auction item payment can be made with cash or check made payable to St. Jude.

  • No IOUs will be accepted.

  • All payments are due in full at time of delivery.

  • The auction judge reserves the right to give unpaid items to the next highest bidder.

  • Items receiving no bids will be donated back to Heroic Age Art Center for future auction.

  • All sales are final and no refunds will be made under any circumstances.
